How do I program oscillate mode on a Flex monitor using the controller?

Use a connected controller to program oscillation points on your Flex Monitor without needing the SmartPlex App. This guide shows you how to set, store, and activate automatic sweep patterns directly from a wireless or panel-mounted controller.

If your Flex Monitor has a wireless or panel-mounted controller, you can program oscillation patterns without using the SmartPlex App. This is ideal for in-field setups where quick deployment and directional sweeping are needed.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Enter Oscillate Program Mode

    • Hold down the Oscillate button on the controller for 5–10 seconds.

    • The controller will start flashing orange, indicating you're in Oscillate Program Mode.

  2. Set the First Oscillation Point

    • Move the monitor to the first desired position in your sweep.

    • Tap the Oscillate button once.

    • The controller will flash white, confirming the position is saved.

  3. Set the Second Oscillation Point

    • Move the monitor to the second sweep point.

    • Tap the Oscillate button again.

    • A second white flash confirms the point is accepted.

🔹 A minimum of two points is required for oscillation to function.

  4. (Optional) Add More Sweep Points

    • Continue setting additional points using the same process.

    • Tap the Oscillate button once at each new position.

  5. Exit Program Mode

    • Hold down the Oscillate button again for 5–10 seconds.

    • The controller will turn blue, signaling that you’ve exited programming mode.

Run Oscillate Mode

  1. Start Oscillation

    • Tap the Oscillate button once.

    • The controller will glow solid orange, showing that the monitor is oscillating.

  2. Observe the Sweep

    • The controller will flash white each time the monitor hits a programmed point.

  3. Stop Oscillation

    • Press any button or joystick on the controller.

    • The controller will turn blue, confirming exit from oscillation mode.
